The boy and I have had our first bit of time spent outside of school. It went very, very well. We shall see how this progresses...

Apparantly I'm on one hell of a spam list to get this:

If you are a time traveler or alien disguised as human and or have the technology to travel physically through time I need your help!

My life has been severely tampered with and cursed!!
I have suffered tremendously and am now dying!

I need to be able to:

Travel back in time.

Rewind my life including my age back to 4.

Be able to remember what I know now so that I can prevent my life from being tampered with again after I go back.

I am in very great danger and need this immediately!

I am aware that there are many types of time travel, and that humans do not do well through certain types.

I need as close to temporal reversion as possible, as safely as possible. To be able to rewind the hands of time in such a way that the universe of now will cease to exist. I know that there are some very powerful people out there with alien or government equipment capable of doing just that.

If you can help me I will pay for your teleport or trip down here, Along with hotel stay, food and all expenses. I will pay top dollar for the equipment. Proof must be provided.

Please be advised that any temporal device that you may employ must account for X, Y, and Z coordinates as well as the temporal location. I have a time machine now, but it has limited abilitys and is useless without a vortex. If you can provide information on how to create vortex generator or where I can get some of the blue glowing moon crystals this would also be helpful.

Also if you are one of the very, very, few beings with the ability to edit the universe PLEASE REPLY!!!

Only if you have this technology and can help me please send me a (SEPARATE) email to:

Please do not reply if your an evil alien!

I don't know Jennie, but she's got a wishlist for library books for her grade school library. [via Jish]

It's tax-deductible if anyone wants to contribute, just give her your name and address.

Please do, this is a worthy cause.

I can't believe I didn't mention it....

My brother and his wife had their baby last night. The spelling of the name is still up in the air as far as I know, so I will post all the details when I get them...

According to the two jobs I had last year, I made a grand total of just under $8,000. Maybe if I get the binoculars I can see the poverty line from here.

So what's a girl do when she's officially made nothing? She buys a hat!

Big favor.

I am up to my freshly-shorn armpits in research. If anybody knows anything about the following topics, links or information would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you!!

What I am looking for:

1. uses for silicon either involving biochemistry healing (torn ligiments and such) and/or in the making of glass.
2. foreign words (any language) for regrowth, renewel (spelling? it just doesn't look right), death, growth (as in personal), evolve(ing), persevere(ing), and endure(ing).
3. toxicity reports involving fatalities preferably airborne or pH related.

Oh, and will the viruses? viri? ever stop invading my poor Gateway? Shit, seriously.

I can hardly do any virus scans these days without turning up something. AND this is behind a firewall (somebody had been messing with the box from far away, so I surrounded Ol' UnFaithful with a burning ring of fire.)

Yeah. Bastards, the lot.

Pop-up ads are the devil.

Travis. Rocks.

*see my sidebar*

1. Purchase album
2. Listen to album, including the 3 incredible hidden tracks.
3. Squeal with glee. Yes, I said "squeal with glee" and I meant it.

Oh, and fanboards?

Guilty as charged.

I can't stop drinking tea.

And yes, I put milk in it.

"There are many kinds of loss, but one of the most bitter and irreparable is the loss of an illusion."

This describes my final thoughts of my ex exactly.

To you if you ever do read this: it's unfortunate that your reasons for and attempts at "the last word" weren't more obvious sooner. I would have saved us both a lot of time. However, thank you for reaffirming all the warning signs I had buried in my head from day one.

Two quick thoughts:

1. The Wiz is possibly one of my favorite musicals ever - just under Little Shop of Horrors.

2. This new Real World. It's Chitown. *sniffle*

Bring it!

I got this from Wil Wheaton's site.

God. Funniest thing all week.

Question is, what the hell is it?

Yeah, I'm bored. Cute, but bored.

I added a few more to She Speaks. Enjoy!

So much to say...

First of all, I am extremely happy to welcome Jon back into daily rotation. I missed you!

Secondly, the question has been asked. Let dating commence immediately. (woo!!)

I really am starting to feel completely happy. After just a week of "the wells", I got sick again. It's weird though: after the initial "God this sucks." wore off, it's not holding me back anymore. The coughing is gross, the nose is runny, and I'd be willing to bet I have intermittant periods of contagiousness, but that's ok with me.

I saw LOTR AGAIN last night. Went by myself. (For those of you who think it's weird to go to a movie by yourself, it's really not. Actually it is one less ticket to buy, and one less person shuffling and fidgeting next to you.) Seriously, the first time I saw that movie it was good. I had issues, as usual, but being the Tolkien dork that I am, it was still cool. The second time was better. I could actually pay more attention to the characters instead of the story. This last time, I saw all the fluff. I watched for the errors with glee. I watched the audience react to the things I had learned to really like about the film. I'll probably see it at least one more time before it drops from theaters, but this weekend my focus is on Black Hawk Down. That movie is supposed to be really good. Hopefully Ridley Scott won't let me down.

I have a crush on an attainable boy, and the dating may soon commence. Perhaps this site could become more Red Shoe in the near future.

Things are just really good right now. I have made a budget. I will pay my bills and repair my credit. I will do my homework and spend time learning things outside of school. I will get rid of all the things in my life that are holding me down, and push all the good things (good friends, good times) to the forefront where I can actually appreciate them again.

Yea, life is good.

Poor BlogBack.

Perhaps whatever Blogger had was contagious.

overheard at a BMX race:

son: "Dad, they put me in the 12 Expert..."
father: "Then you had better pedal fast."

My rockstar jeans from the 70's couldn't take it anymore. They decided to divorce just under my right cheek. Services will be held later this evening.

I have a new crush.
I will be acting on it as soon as I can.

Oh, and for those of you who were wondering: hitting your thumbnail with a hammer really, really hard tends to hurt like a bitch. I clenched my fists, grit my teeth, and took it like a man. Now let's just pray that the nail doesn't fall off, for there is nothing sexier than a woman sans nail.

I NEED to get the portfolio and resume links up- just gimmie some time.
I'm a very busy girl, but this has gone on long enough.

Ok, I take that back - the whole BF album rocks.

Check out the video for "Still Fighting It". He is incredible.

I had originally intended on rehashing the usual "What I did for the holidays" schpeel, but instead, I do believe I will sing the song that has been in my head every day since I got the CD (thank you Santa!).

"Annie Waits"

and so annie waits annie waits annie waits
for a call from a friend
the same
it's the same, why's it always the same?
annie waits for the last time
the clock never stops never stops never waits
she's growing old
it's getting late
and so he forgot, he forgot but maybe not
maybe he's been seriously hurt
would that be worse?
headlights crest the hill
shadows pass her by and out of sight
annie sees in dreams
friday bingo, pigeons in the park
annie waits for the last time
just the same as the last time
annie says, you see?
this is why i'd rather be alone
and so annie waits annie waits annie waits
for a call from a friend
the same
it's the same, why's it always the same?
annie waits as the last...
headlights crest the hill
who will be the one forever more
annie, i could be
if we're both still lonely when we're old
annie waits for the last time
just the same as the last time
annie waits
but not for me

-Ben Folds

Seriously. This album kicks all ass. For the most part, this is track one, and tracks 9-12 are excellent as well.
Get your grubby mitts on it as soon as you can.

Oh, I will certainly be quoting something from Travis' The Man Who sometime in the near future.

I will update.

Yes, yes.

I will.
